"Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others" (Philippians 2:4). That's what the Care Ministry is all about - caring and comforting people in need. Loving volunteers step in to help Crosspoint families and individuals facing hardships. These include challenges due to an illness or death, a new baby, military deployments, single parenting, or difficulties with special needs kids.
• Preparing and delivering meals
• Housecleaning and laundry
• Gardening/yard work
• Minor repairs
• Hospital or home visits
• Help with those grieving
• Cards to keep in touch
• Care baskets and snacks
Such support is usually provided initially through Crosspoint’s Small Groups. The Care Ministry exists to supplement those efforts, providing extra care when a situation becomes too overwhelming.
